I could totally handle 100 inches of fluff over the next 4 months. I know most all of you hate the thought of another winter on the horizon but there is nothing any of us can do to avoid/stop it (other than moving) so we might as well enjoy it. I’d be happy to take each and every one of you snowmobiling if it would help you enjoy winter even a little. Heck, I could even be persuaded to come and clear your driveway if you have the right tools.

The Smithsonian magazine is sponsoring a free admission day to many museums across the country this Saturday. In MN there are a number of quality ones eligible including the MN Zoo and MIA. If I was in town this weekend I’d be hitting up the Aboretum. Be sure to fill out the admission form prior to visit. It works for up to two people.

I was browsing Amazon this morning looking for some industrial ear protectors to turn into headphones. I decided to check out some of the readymade ones. Here is a screen cap of what Amazon recommends I buy along with the protectors. Perhaps some fathers come looking for protection from their baby’s screams and discover that maybe they are just hungry.

HealthPartners has a new mascot. Petey the Pee Cup. It just so happens he has a Facebook profile and you can be his friend. Corporate mascots on Facebook. Really. There is a cafe press store too. This is out of hand.

Even though the Wild lost, I’ve still been watching a ton of hockey. One day this week, I even watched parts of 3 different games. It was sweet. I don’t understand how some can’t get into hockey. The action is so intense. Here is the tv schedule for the rest of the 2nd round of the playoffs.
