Time and the internet
I can't tell you the last time I did any personal
reading on the internet. There have just been too many other things to
do.
I am not knocking blogs or anything (wouldn't
that be ironic to do on a blog) but I just haven't had time to read them lately.
I am sure a few of the fellow readers can check there logs to see when I last
visited but ones that don't the comments are a decent indicator. I don't know
why but I just haven't sat down at a computer much in the last few weeks outside
of work. Out of the last four weekends though I have gone wakeboarding 4 times.
(I can clear the wake now, pretty good for only learning how to ride 2.5 months
ago). I guess maybe it is just that it is summer and I want to do stuff
outside.
When I am at work I try really
hard to keep any online reading to technology based sites and so the only time I
have to read personal stuff is at night or on the weekends. Being that my
weeknights are filled with biking and my weekends, wakeboarding, there aren't
many options left. Maybe I'll do better when the water gets cold (that's if I
don't buy a wetsuit!!).
So how about
the rest of you? Do you find time to read all of your friends sites? Do you go
through phases where you will read a bunch of days in a row and then nothing for
awhile?
