My wish


I wish this state would just make up its mind about what season it is. It is getting somewhat frustrating. Yeah, that's right, I am frustrated over something I have absolutely no control over, the weather.

Right now it is February 17th, and it is 12 degrees out. The last time we got snow was on Sunday night Monday morning but during the day on Monday it was 40+ out. All the snow melted and it has been uber-cold ever since. It should just be winter now, full of snow and wintertime fun, end of story.

I wish that the seasons were somewhat more consistent. At least winter anyway. I wish it would snow 3 feet on December first, last all winter, and melt the last day of March. Sure it would take a few days to clear all the roads but it would be a one time thing. It could be declared a two day holiday when it happens so that no one gets hurt trying to drive into work or whatever.

It is a perfect system really because John would be happy that driving wouldn't be messed up and I would be happy because I could snowmobile for 4 months. It is a win-win really. Who's with me?
